It's something so simple 

So plain to see

That mankind is losing

The battle for humanity

It's as if an evil wizard

Viewed it in a crystal ball

That there, one day would be

Nothing left human at all

It's like in the movies

All of this madness and mayhem

It's as if they've all gone crazy

No souls left in them

It's something so obvious

Even for the blind 

That there are few with compassion

Or the willingness to be kind

So sad are they

For what they cannot see

So sad for everyone

What this world has come to be

My heart goes out to comfort

Those whose eyes are open

The ones with eyes of love

The ones I still see hope in

For if we gave to God

All of our hope for rebirth

And circled the whole world

And deep within it 

She could see it all

She could see into tomorrow

Knew that it wouldn't last

She spent her days

Just trying to tell the people

Because she loved them so

But they had no idea

No, they didn't have a clue

Until Miss Marple showed them 

What the evil people do
